A company that cares 4 U
If you’re looking for extra support, we’re the perfect company to help you out. As a team of professional carers, we help you with domiciliary care on a basis to suit you. We also offer live-in care options, if extra care is required, and we work from our base in London to cover south-east England. Contact us directly for a quality service.
Our care plan is developed following the initial needs assessment. This assessment is completed by one of our managers and all information is held confidentially. These plans explain routine tasks to be undertaken by carers, as well as the agreed times.
Information is left at your address for you and your carer, and this includes a service user guide, a copy of your care plan including associated risk assessments, our contact numbers, complaints procedure, and other useful information.
The risk assessments are completed to identify any risks that may occur during a visit, to either the carer or the client. Risk assessments are designed to protect people against known dangers, not to stop clients doing what they want to do.
If you’re not fully satisfied with your carer, we encourage you to inform us through our quality assurance program and complaints policy. Our quality assurance policy ensures that you and your loved ones are happy and that we’re doing everything possible to support you.
Regular reviews of the care and support that we provide start from day one, and continue throughout your time with us. We expect to complete a formal face to face review every 3 months, as well as making regular telephone quality checks. Our quality assurance policy ensures that you and your loved ones are happy and that we’re doing everything possible to support you.
Your review policy details how and when we’re due to review your care, and this is available from the office.
If you ever feel you need someone to speak on your behalf, either to ourselves or others providing your care and support, then you’re able to use an advocate. An advocate is something completely independent, and they’re able to help you to express your views, opinions and wishes, as well as helping you to obtain impartial advice.
Our service is available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. We provide care when you need it most and stay for the length of time required. At our company, we believe that with the right kind of support our service users are able to experience a positive and rewarding life. While some people need support with most or all everyday tasks throughout their lives, many people with learning disabilities are able to live quite independently with minimal support, using an enabling or coaching approach. We believe that by building a person-centred relationship there’s opportunity for positive change.
Before the start of your service, our manager discusses your requirements. This is the best way to get a feel of what we’re able to offer, and it helps to construct your person-centred plan. Our manager is able to answer all of your questions, as well as allaying any concerns you may have.
We have developed a generic training programme suitable to provide foundation to our befrienders, and this allows them to befriend clients from lots a range of diverse client groups. The workshops and training courses for our befrienders increase the delegate’s understanding and awareness of learning disabilities, as well as the impact this diagnosis could have on an individual. As a minimum, our team is trained in the following:
Our befrienders are chosen following a rigorous recruitment process. Each one has their references and work history checked, and they’re trained to the highest standard. All of our team members are fully insured to be working in your home.
Our carers are able to prompt, administer, and assist service users to take their medication at regular intervals. However, they’re unable to assist in this way if the medication has not been prescribed by their doctor and has been dispensed by their regular pharmacist. This means that unfortunately we’re unable to assist with:
Our whole team has completed appropriate medication assistance training, and this fully complies with the requirements of local authorities and our care regulators. To make the process more straightforward, we also encourage clients to request their medication in a “Medi-Pack”. This provides our carers with visible evidence, whether the medication has, or has not been taken.
When our care team is providing meals and drinks for clients, they make every effort to provide healthy, balanced, nutritious meals based on the clients dietary and personal choices. They also help with the consumption of meals and drinks where required in the care plan.
Our aim is to promote and enable our services user to remain as independent as possible. We do this by listening and understanding our client’s requirements and abilities, and using this knowledge to provide the right level of assistance and supervision.
We also provide personal care , live in Care, High dependency, CARE AT HOME- Private funding, direct payment, Local authority and NHS Service users
We provide domestic cleaning for all clients to ensure that you’re able to stay in your own home. By providing this service, we are able to offer continuity of your lifestyle. Our other services include:
